Rockville Campus Library Prepares For Renovation
The Rockville Campus library is preparing for a major renovation that will modernize this essential learning hub. The library’s third floor closed Dec. 1 for collection packing, and the Macklin Tower (MT) location will close Dec. 22. A temporary library will open in the Academic Annex (CB) Building in spring 2026, providing textbooks and course reserves, laptops and tablets, group study rooms, research assistance, and other core services. All library e-resources remain available 24/7, and students can request materials from other campuses through intercampus loan. The renovated library is scheduled to reopen in spring 2028. Visit the Rockville Library Renovation for more information.

Exploring Innovation Through 3D Printing
I had an inspiring conversation with Dr. Daniel Dalgo, part-time faculty member in engineering and director of energy and engineering at LifeBridge Health, in this episode of . We explore how 海角社区 equips students with hands-on access to 3D printing and digital fabrication through our Engineering Innovation Center and maker-space facilities. Dr. Dalgo, an MC alumnus who once worked in the Office of Facilities, shares insights on the how faculty who work in the industry bring real-world challenges and opportunities into the classroom so students can develop real-world solutions. These technologies help students build industry-relevant skills and prepare them for meaningful careers in STEM and design fields.
